Bruins Academy Learn to Play

Learn: Ages 5-9

Learn to play hockey with the Boston Bruins Learn to Play Program! Running Fridays, 10/24-11/14, 5-6pm at MRC. Registration includes a full set of equipment and professional fitting.

Learn: Ages 4-14

For new players ready to learn skating, basic skills, and game concepts. Sessions run from fall through spring. This fun, exciting program provides full hockey gear for all participants to borrow for the season. Sponsored by Camden National Bank, our Learn to Play Hockey program is a season staple!

7U/8U Development Program

Play: Ages 5-8

For intermediate players who have completed a Learn to Play program and are able to skate independently. Practice two days a week with weekend game opportunities. Focuses on skill development and small games. Structured, fun hockey with gear available for the full season.

Compete: Ages 5-7

For younger advanced players. Focusing on team play, deepening skills, and character development. Featuring the excitement of travel play and tournaments. Coaches will assess readiness and work with players to grow further. Early registration is recommended.

Compete: Ages 7-8

For older advanced players. This program focuses on game skills, teamwork, and athletic development. Travel, games, and tournaments guaranteed. Fun, friendship, and love of the game! Ideal for players ready for commitment and dedication. Early registration is recommended.

Learn & Play: Ages 11-16

Players do not have to have hockey skills but do need to know how to skate. This program will develop skating & hockey skills while players gain confidence and learn the game. This program builds the foundation and provides game time with scrimmages and games with other Maine teams. Players make friends, build skills, and have fun!
