Welcome to spring/summer skating! All the nostalgia, all the fun. Public skates available every day (please check schedule).

We’re bringing back theme nights and adding tacos most Fridays from Capulin Tacos!

Monday-Friday 7:30-9:00am

Monday-Friday 10:30am-12pm (available until June 22nd)

Saturday & Sunday 10:30am-12:00pm

Late Skates:

Friday & Saturday 6:00-8:00pm

  • No, but we HIGHLY recommend safety gear, such as helmets and knee pads, for all skaters, regardless of age.

  • While we strongly recommend wearing helmets and knee pads for skating, we do not have any available to rent at this time.

  • We offer both roller skates and roller blades in children to adult sizes, as small as size 10Y roller skates and 13Y roller blades, up to size 13 adult in both skates and blades!

    • Safety & Flow: Skaters must maintain control, follow the established direction, and avoid erratic movements or cutting across the floor.

    • Prohibited Actions: No excessively fast skating, roughhousing, weaving, or tag. No carrying children while skating.

    • Rink Floor Restrictions: No food, drinks, or chewing gum on the skating surface during public roller skating. Anyone in shoes must stay towards the outside of the track.

    • Equipment: All quads must have toe stops and inline skates must have secure bolts.

    • Safety Gear: Proper protective gear is encouraged.

    • Behavioral Policies: Profanity, fighting, or intoxication will result in removal.

    • General Policies: Admission fees are usually required for all.

    Etiquette & Safety Practices

    • Slow Traffic: Beginners or slower skaters should stay towards the outside of the arena near the boards, while faster skaters use the inner lane.

    • Stopping: Stopping on the skating surface is prohibited in the inner lanes; skaters should move to the outside of the arena, near the boards.

    • Falling: If a fall occurs, skaters should try to get up quickly. 

    • Checking Gear: It is recommended to check all personal skate equipment for safety before entering the floor.

    This is just a partial list. You are ultimately responsible for your personal safety. Use caution and skate under control. Respect other skaters. The rink’s monitors and staff cannot guarantee safety and will not protect you from injury. It is part of your responsibility to avoid other skaters and hazards. MRC reserves the right to remove any skater who does not follow the rules or is a risk to themselves or other skaters.

Fall/Winter Ice Skating

Adult Skate Passes

  • Adult: $8

  • Seniors (60+): $6

Youth Skate Passes

  • Children (6-12): $6

  • Little Kids (5 and under): free

Skate Rentals

  • $5 / pair

  • Yes! We have free child-size skating aids available to use. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • We offer both figure skate and hockey skates in children to adult sizes, as small as size 6Y up to size 13 adult!

    • For your safety and enjoyment, the following rules must be followed:

    • A skating pass must be purchased before going on the ice

    • You are skating at your own risk

    • Do not go on the ice without skates.

    • Do not wear skates in the stands

    • Keep exits clear. Do not sit on the dasher boards.

    • Before getting on the ice look for oncoming skaters

    • Always stay in control and be able to stop to avoid other skaters.

    • People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid hitting them or disrupting them.

    • While on the ice keep moving. Do not stop where you will obstruct other skaters.

    • Do not skate in groups.

    • No eating or drinking on the ice.

    • No speeding, tag, weaving, roughness, or throwing of any objects.

    • Do not carry children or other items while you are skating.

    • Rink equipment can be dangerous. Stay off the ice when resurfacing is in progress.

    • Obey the monitors and staff. Report hazards to the monitors or staff
