Our Fitness Center is filled with all the resources you need for your personal workout routine, including:

  • Cardio machines

  • Free lift weights

Fitness Center Details

  • Hours follow MRC business hours

  • Must be 15 years old or older to use fitness center without parental supervision. Anyone under the age of 13 cannot enter the fitness center​.

  • Check-in by scanning your membership QR code from the Midcoast Rec app at the Front Desk

  • Must have either a fitness membership or a day-pass (available for $8)

Fitness Memberships

The MRC Fitness Membership is a monthly gym membership with some additional benefits.

Membership Benefits

  • Unlimited access to the Fitness Center during MRC business hours

  • Free public skate everyday (skate rentals not included)​​

  • 25% off any introductory or beginner level "Learn to Play/Skate" program for any sport

  • Rockport residents discount

Membership perks only apply to the membership holder and are non-transferable.

Membership Options

  • Individual Membership:

    • $30/month (Rockport residents: $20/month)

    • $25 initiation fee

  • Family Membership (up to 2 adults plus kids under 18 in the same household):

    • $75/month ($55 for Rockport residents)

    • $60 initiation fee

Personal Training

Personal training is available at MRC! Set up a 1 or 2 person training session for adults or youth.

    Cody has practiced as a fitness trainer in various gyms here in Maine, and has enjoyed working with various types of clientele. Ranging from college to youth athletes to older customers and orthopedic patients. Most recently, he has trained clients at his massage practice in Camden, and at client’s homes. 

    Cody earned his BS in Kinesiology, with a Concentration in Exercise from UMaine. He has also held multiple exercise certifications. As of late, he is studying for certification through the American College of Sports Medicine.

    Originally from Camden, Cody has lived most of his life in Maine. He has played many sports such as lacrosse, soccer, golf, and tennis. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing.
