Sarah grew up playing community tennis through her town's parks and recreation department in Ashland, Ohio. By the time she was a teenager, she practically lived at the local courts--training, competing, and teaching younger kids how to play tennis. She went on to play competitively in high school and college and continued to coach tennis in her community. Recently, she helped coach the Berea College Women's tennis team. She also taught juniors in the Mountain Tennis Circuit's programs (in Kentucky). She is delighted to be back in Maine and join the teaching staff at the MRC. She loves the organization's commitment to make tennis accessible and available to all people in the community. Sarah lives in Waldoboro with her husband, Andy, and their two children.
